Apologies to those that started bidding yesterday. I stopped the auction yesterday as the details I presented were unintentionally incorrect. For sale my Ducati 999s I bought this bike in July 2006 and am the third owner. It is not one of the original 50 Nero models imported, looking at the registration document reveals that this was originally a Biposto model. I believe this was converted to a Nero specification in 2005.I used the bike for a couple of years and then it was SORNED as I had other bikes I was using. The bike has covered 7000 miles although the instrument shows less, as this was replaced at 2034 miles due to a condensation fault. As you can see from the photos the bike is in really good condition.Most of the early miles are from dry road use but I have over the years, while SORNED, done the odd track-day - this is really the only safe way to use its performance.The bike has not been damaged, dropped or crashed in any way. The bike comes with a full Ti Termignoni exhaust, vented clutch case, slipper clutch, carbon front and rear mudguard and brand new Metzler Race Tech tyres K1 front K2 rear.Pads are all good as are chain and sprockets.Included in the sale are a set of exhaust baffles (dB Killers) that are useful when it comes to the MoT - the exhaust with baffles is not neighbour offensive.The MoT expires at the end of July but if circumstances allow I will get it retested on completion of the sale. I have all the original parts that will come with the bike: clutch, clutch cover, clutch case, exhaust, front mudguard, fluid reservoir covers (corroded), throttle cable assy. screen, fuel cap etc.There is a small repair to the underside of the seat where I stripped a thread - it is not visible but worth noting. I do all my own servicing, as for me it is an enjoyable part of the ownership experience. The bike was serviced by me in July 2018 where I replaced the belts, checked and replaced a few of the valve shims which were out of spec. & cleaned the air filter, adjusted and lubed chain. It has covered 10 miles since the service...The service book shows the 2k service at ProTwins in April 2006 and then a 4k service at St. Neots Motorcycles in July 2007. I have other bikes, limited space and insufficient time to ride - these are the reasons I am selling. The bike is advertised elsewhere so I will close the auction if sold. The bike is sold as seen with no warranty implied.On completion of the sale I will require a £250 deposit via PayPal to secure the bike - full payment will be on the day of collection and only once funds have been received in my account.Please do not bid unless you intend to buy. I am not desperate to sell will not negotiate the price after the sale has completed. I can deliver for £1/mile if required but only within 70 miles of Cambridge.
