Here for sale is a 1978 Honda CD175, running and riding project So I bought this bike off facebook market place last year as a 'lockdown' project, I wanted free tax, MOT exempt and something different to potter around on.My plan was to ride it through the summer and give it a ground up rebuild over winter. Unfortunately the previous owner wasn't very honest and I've spent most my time trying to sort out his handy work.So my reason for selling is I've come across my dream project and simply don't have time for this bike anymore. Will keep it simple, here's a quick list of the good and bad points. *Full service *New tyres*New electronic ignition*Tank, fairings are in good condition for the age. (must of had paint recently at some stage) *Engine has had a top end rebuild by the previous owner, no paperwork for this. but there's evidence of the rebuild and compression test indicated so.*Wiring loom is in good condition*New battery *New brake shoes*Various cables replaced*No rot on the frame *Chrome work is in poor condition *Electrics need finishing off, everything's there just needs connecting*Previous owner bodged the kick start lever. It holds up, but the spline has been stripped. The temp fix holds, but i would replace.*Carb needs setting up, it runs and rides but needs fine tuning to get the bike running spot on Can help to deliver the bike if needed cash on collection or bank transfer (got the full v5)
