Very nice 66 Bonneville TT Special.Made from 63 - 67 . TT' s were mostly all sent to US for off road racing . TT steeple chase oval course , dirt and desert racing in California , hence no lights plus alloy mudguards on early ones and big 1 1/32 in . carbs .From 63 to part way through 66 the bikes were stamped T120C ...hence T120C TT .This is an earlier 66 bike stamped C . Apart from possibly painted fenders and some grey top seats there is no difference between a ' C TT and one Stamped TT .Sorry if you know all that .This bike has set of orginal fork dampers set up in the stanchions and the very rare TT tank with raised fuel tap ports and petrol cap at the very front of the tank .This tank only appeared on some 66 TT s .Original seat pan and foam. Alloy mudguards , date matched 389 95 carbs , rear light and brake switch and lower compression pistons for road use . Carbs have had new slides all set up by Kevin Traill. The engine hasnt been rebuilt since being in the UK but the forks have and Clutch .New engine oil. Oil tank painted and cleaned The Smiths Tacho has been rebuilt and calibrated . Frame has been stoved enameled . Included in the paperwork all the import docs and Nova cert . VMCC statement of search and a VMCC dating certificate . Imported 4 years ago .Registered in the UK with a V5 and got a nice 66 age related plate. So if you want something rare and a bike you can use on the road for some much needed summer fun . Up graded electonic ignition with a regulator and new old stock 2MC lucas capacitor which allows the bike to run without a battery ..very good and very reliable .Its all very nice .
