MONTESA IMPALITA 50 C.C. Rare motorbike made in 1965/66 by Montesa. Spain.Only 500 units was made.It was the first Montesa 50 c.c.The Montesa 50 was known as the Impalita, eas a moped model manufactured by Montesa between 1965 and 0966, with a total of 500 units produced by Montesa therefore, the first to incorporate the general characteristics that were later shared by the brand's successive mopeds, 48/74 c.c. Air cooled, single cylinder, two stroke engine, sefl supporting frame, drum brakes and conventional fork shock absorbers at the front and telescopic at the rear. The nickname by which this model was known, Impalita, came from its resemblance to the quintessential Montesa motorcycle at the time, the Impala, which he remembered for the general line and specially, for the colors of the tank, red.The Impalita, did not last long and was soon replaced by the Ciclo Montesa, an almost identical model that was launched in 1965. The bike is running, all is original of epoch. Of course, needs to be restored and some parts can be get well.Never documented. The owner lives in Madrid and never used the bike. It was parked a lot of years in one garage of Barcelona. No warranty.The bike can be shipped to U.K. by van. Tell me your postal city and I will calculate the price.
