Aprilia rs125 1996 with the rotax 123 engine unrestricted its the full power model-16000 miles on the clock which checks out on line with previous mot's-this was a running bike that was stripped by the previous owner who was going to tidy up for his wife to ride but she developed a health issue lost confidence so he decided to sell on, I then perchased to restore as a project but have lost interest myself so have also decided to sell on- the bike is loosely put together for the photos - the engine wasn't stripped only removed but I checked before installation and no play on the main bearings the piston had no play through the ports and the power valve blade seemed in good order I have fitted a new battery plugged the wiring loom in fresh gear oil and coolant and with a pre mix supplied via a bottle if fired up and sounds spot on, no vibration and revs well and idles -as the bike is unfinished I haven't test ridden but all gears select when rocked back and forth- the previous owner is a biker and said it ran fine which I didn't doubt he just wanted to tidy up cosmetically -good points: no corrosion on the forks all the plastics are in very good condition no splits or cracks the front mudguard is un damaged the engine seems spot on no leaks it has good chain and sprockets good tyres the subframe and swing arm have been painted and the V5 is in my name - the bad points are : the last mot was five years ago so hasn't been on the road for some time and some parts are missing- you will need a front brake calliper seal kit as it's been stripped for painting a clutch lever and perch, handle bar grips and mirrors and there are some nuts and bolts missing but apart from this it's all there also all the lights work as does the rear brake -I also have the original key which fits the ignition and fuel cap -over all it's a solid bike needs some tlc and a few parts readily available off ebay but it is spares or repair please be aware of this I have tried to be as honest as I can with the description- no returns no refunds -the bike cannot be ridden away and is located mid CORNWALL and I will require a PayPal deposit £50 when auction ends and the rest cash on collection -if you fail to send a deposit it will be re-advertised sorry to all genuine ebayers but there are just too many timewasters out there any questions please ask viewing also welcome I m happy to run the engine up On 19-Jun-20 at 15:42:50 BST, seller added the following information: The carburetor fitted is the standard dellorto 34mm flat slide carb
