Acquired this bike in 2008 with a few other projects. Spent the time doing the other, larger project bikes, so this was always surplus to requirements and so has sat taking up valuable space for too many years.Was running when acquired and loaded onto a trailer. Has decent compression, all six gears can be selected, but I have never tried to get running properly. Please note, tyres were on the bike, but I removed as they were huge old and cracked knobblies and totally wrong for this small trail bike and never got around to replacing them. Both inner tubes hold air and the chrome rims are pretty good. Indicators have been removed rather crudely by cutting wires and drive chain is missing. Drive sprocket is serviceable, but the rear spocket is badly worn. Both brakes are stiff, but do work. All cables are stiff. The seat that came with the bike is in great condition, but again I have never installed and the petrol tank had seen the start of reconditioning, but never was completed. It all looks relatively original and not too messed with. Clutch lever is a new item.Comes with new and very hard to find original tank and side panel markings. The left side panel is missing. Hard to say what else is missing other than indicators, tyres, chain, mirrors until you start to rebuild, but I would say it is far to complete to break for parts. There is small bag of hardware and a second wiring loom included. I have a Kawasaki Service Manual which covers the early models and has additional A12 version pages. So in summary, could be a running field bike with a small amount of effort, or partly, fully restored if that's your bag. Or, if you need a bike for parts and some of the hard to find ones at that, it would do a great job.I have the V5 in my name.Cash on collection please.
